Method

Larger plates are calibrated according to the Moody Method specified in ASME B87.3 2013 and smaller plates are calibrated with flatness indicators. Plates that don’t pass initial inspection are lapped using the wet lap method which enables Lorenz Calibration to work down plates that are found considerably out of tolerance. Fine grits are used to complete the resurfacing process for a super fine finish.
